The One I Gave My Heart To(7)

By:Mercedes G

We were popping bottles and enjoying ourselves with the fellas. Dola let me sip a taste of his Hennessey and laughed at my facial expression when it went down my throat, because it was way too strong for my liking. Even Terri had loosened up a bit and joined the fun. She had no other choice, because Syrius had her laughing so hard that I wanted to ask them what the hell was so funny so that I could laugh too. I was in a state of shock when she stood up and gave him a seducing lap dance in front of all us. She was moving her body all over him like a snake, and you could tell that he was feeling her after that performance, but I knew that it was all just for fun in her world.

A sense of anxiety trekked through my body when Dola placed his arm around my neck and gently leaned me back on the couch with him propping his foot up on the ottoman.

“Why you so gorgeous?” He asked softly, causing me to shiver, as his breath played with my ear.

The alcohol that sat on his breath was so damn tempting that I wanted to taste it on him badly. The smell of it was exotic to me….like alcohol mix with some good ass weed. All I could think about was Dej Loaf singing “Me, You, and Hennessey” as we made sweet love.

“I don’t know….thank you.” I said, turning my head away from him shyly. Dola was the first guy that I had met that was so direct and passionate.

Gently touching my chin, he turned my face back to his so that we were connected eye to eye, and it was so hard for me to do, because I had always heard that staring deeply into a person’s eyes was the quickest way to fall in love.

“Look at me, Mia, when I’m talking to you.” He demanded with a smile.

His eyes were so alluring and had been ever since we first made eye contact earlier. Now that we were up close and personal, they had me on the edge of my seat. There was something about them that transformed my soul, and it was way too far out of my control. I couldn’t bare it. The music was playing loud through the speakers, but Dola’s voice was all that I heard, as he continued to admire my beauty and whisper sweet nothings in my ear, causing me to blush. I began to wonder if he was just telling me these things to see what being inside of me was like. Shit, I’m guessing he probably tells every female that he fuck with the same thing. Then again, maybe not. He couldn’t be. There were plenty of bitches that were dying to even be in his presence, so he didn’t have to go to the extent that he was going just to get some pussy from me. There were bitches only a few feet away ready and willing to bust that thang open with just a “Hi” from him. But right now, I had his undivided attention, and honestly, that’s all that mattered to me at that this point. Shit, I had been waiting way too long for this moment, and I was going to use it to my advantage.

After about an hour of chilling with the fellas, me and my girls exited VIP with them right behind us. We ended up leaving the club a little early before closing time, because that’s when the bullshit normally popped off. Even though Dola insisted that we were safe with them, we decided to leave anyway. They walked us to my car, and Dola pinned me up with my back against it. He was standing in front of me covering my body with my hands in his. Terri had already hopped on the passenger side ready to go with her window rolled down talking to Syrius. Ruth had pulled his truck up behind my car and Kelsi was standing at his driver’s side window running her mouth.

“I’mma ride home with Ruth, y’all.” Kelsi stated, and I looked at her as if she had lost her fucking mind! Even though we knew of him, we didn’t know him like that for her to be so quick to hop in his truck. Especially if she was already under the influence. Hell no! Not on my watch!

“No the hell you ain’t! Kelsi bring yo’ ass on.” I told her acting like an overprotective parent and like she was my child.

“She good, Mia. I’ll make sure he takes her straight home. I rode with him.” Dola stated.

“Nuh unh! I’m not letting my friend get in the car with y’all, and she’s been drinking! What kind of friend you think I am?” I asked Dola, with an attitude.

Not only had Kelsi pissed me off, but Dola had me ready to snap on his ass too for even thinking that it was okay, as a friend, to let my friend make what could possibly be a bad decision in her life.

“Hold up, Ma. Honestly, your friend ain’t even my type. Two, I got too much shit too lose to be going to chain gang on a fucking rape charge or whatever you tryna imply! A nigga already on probation for some dumb shit. Shiiiid, if you gotta take it to get it, then you don’t need it. And three, did you see all of that open and free pussy back inside the club? My nigga Ruth ain’t like that. He a good dude.” Dola defended.
